Lately I have been cross stitching quite a bit, and I just updated my Cross Stitch Photo Gallery. In July I finished a large wolves piece, titled ‘White Magic‘ (Dimensions kit). All that is needed now is my signature and a frame:
Next I started and finished a nice dragon piece, called ‘Above the Clouds‘ by Teresa Wentzler. Again, all that is needed for the piece is a signature and frame:
Finally, I started up again on a Christmas project, The Twelve Days of Christmas, also by Teresa Wentzler. I am going to be making each into a Christmas ornament. I completed the stitching on day 1 (except for the beading), and started day 2:

I’ve been making quite a bit of progress on my “White Magic” cross stitch piece recently. The image is a picture of two white wolves looking out from among some pine trees on a black background, and the finished stitched area will be about 12.5″ x 9.5″. I’m nearly finished with the area stitches, and then I will add the backstitching (outlining). Check out the most recent progress photos in my Cross Stitch Gallery.

I was reading Digg and came across this Scale Model of Helm’s Deep Made Out of Candy (Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers). That’s a lot of gummy bears! It looks like it took quite a bit of work, and it’s very impressive.

I added a new section to my site: Cross Stitch. Cross stitching is a type of needlework done by making small crosses in an ‘x’ using thread to create an image on the fabric. Check out the cross stitch section here for more info about cross stitching, a photo gallery of my projects, and a list of some free cross stitch patterns. I hope to add more cross stitch info later, such as tutorials and tips.
