In an interview with iF magazine, Matt Groening revealed that the title of the first direct to DVD Futurama movie will be “Bender’s Big Score”. It will be released in December of 2007, and the movies (four total) will be “reconfigured” into episodes and shown on Comedy Central starting in 2008.
MATT GROENING: We’re doing four DVD movies around ninety minutes and then we’re going to reconfigure those and they’ll be episodes on Comedy Central. The impolite way of saying it is we’re chopping them up and the polite way is to say we’re reconfiguring and we’re going to add narration and more stuff. We’re going to be doing some fun extras on the DVD show, there’s going to be “Everybody Loves Hyptno-Toad” – a whole show of it. The DVD’s are going to be self-contained packages, but the episodes will also work, we hope. That’s the goal.

The April issue of Computer Games magazine includes a closed beta key for Lord of the Rings Online. From what I hear, this issue is on the stands right now, and the key can be used to play in the closed beta right away. Closed beta ends on March 25th, and open beta begins on April 6th (for those who did not pre-order the game), so if you want to try out the game early, get your hands on the April issue of Computer Games magazine.
Google Maps has a new feature which shows real time traffic information for major highways in large cities. To view traffic information for a region, click the Traffic tab on the map. Red lines indicate stop-and-go, yellow indicates some slowdown, and green means the roads are fairly clear. Cities which have traffic information are noted on the traffic map with a stoplight symbol. Here are a few traffic examples: Bay Area, New York City, Austin, TX.
